Speaking of FRG-7
Hello all First off, I would post the links, but I am unsure how to do that. Sorry On Ebay, do a search for Yaesu Musen, and two FRG-7 come up. Two different sellers, 2 different locations, 2 different pictures. One thing that smells fishy is the fact the two auctions have identical auction titles, and descriptions are nealy identical. Do any of you more seasoned Ebayers smell a scam? What do you think? I would like to bid, but I dont want to get ripped off. Cheers Mark |

Mark..it's NOT a wonderful receiver, I had one years ago and it's pretty
deaf. Unless you want it for a "collection" or get it VERY cheap I would pass on it. Look at the Specs, nothing special and it doesnt even come close to those numbers...Eddie "Mark" wrote in message ... Hello all First off, I would post the links, but I am unsure how to do that. If you look at the dates the auctions started it's obvious that the second seller looked at the first one as a way of listing his item. He looked at the title and said that looks good. He looked at the description and said, yeah, that looks good too. I'll doctor it a bit for my use. Some people are just not as creative as others are when listing and describing an item, therefore they look to those who've gone before. Cheers Mark |
Considering the reviews that people (lots) have given it, I would more
likely think that you had a bad one. "Eddie Haskel" wrote in message m... Mark..it's NOT a wonderful receiver, I had one years ago and it's pretty deaf. Some people are just not as creative as others are when listing and
describing an item, therefore they look to those who've gone before. I had someone on Ebay steal the picture of my R8B for his auction. It looked so good he thought it was an industry photo, which he assumed was available to anyone. I told him I was not pleased, so he agreed to add an explanation about the picture to his auction. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
EH,
I would Agree - In its time the late 1970s and at its original Price of $300-$350: The Yaesu FRG-7 was a very good receiver with some interesting features but basic. But now there are some 1980s and 1990s 'very good' used receivers that clearly out perform it. jm2cw ~ RHF .. .. = = = "Eddie Haskel" = = = wrote in message om...
