Having spent some time in the Gulf States, I will tell you benefit of
all this. The Rate of Repeat offenders is zero. In Kuwait, you get
caught smuggling heroin, and your life expctancy is about 180 days.
That is how long the trial, and the various appeals will take before
they hang you. Mostly Iranians in the Heroin trade...

If they really wanted to do anything about the drug trade here, they would
do the same thing.
