It'll be nice when they start regular programming.

10 Dog Bones over S-9 here at Green Bay, WI. Some bad skywave cancellation
but overall OK sig considering that they're at the top of the band.

Good audio fidelity.

Getting them here in SW Michigan on an ordinary tabletop/ferrite bar
AM radio. Steady signal, but quite a bit of hash and interference.

In with severe fading here at midnight Central. Briefly almost local
quality, sometimes fades into the noise, generally somewhere between.
Maryland nulled - otherwise they'd be the dominant signal.

Testing with barefoot ICF-2010.

Mostly continuous music with only two announcements heard - a promo for
"Real Oldies 1690" and a VERY OLD "Mr. Clean" ad. Oh, they just popped
in a brief legal ID at the top of the hour.

Does anyone know where the xmtr site is.
I wonder if they are sharing a site with WGCI.

Yes, they're using one of WGCI's towers. The listed coordinates of WGCI
are 41-44-13N/87-42-00W; those of WRLL are 41-44-14N/87-42-04W.

If I read the FCC database record for WGCI properly, they're using a
four-tower array with three towers in a line stretching WNWESE and a
fourth tower NNE of the center tower. My guess is WRLL is using the
westernmost tower.

The site appears to be on the north side of Roosevelt Road in the
general vicinity of Central Avenue:

That would be east of Kedzie Avenue, between 85th and 87th Streets,
according to Street Atlas 8.

I haven't been there in a long time, but I don't recall either any
antennas there or any place they could have been put.
