Jensen JCR-250 vs. Sangean DT-200V
 

Target is selling the Jensen JCR-250 portable digital AM/FM radio with
an internal speaker for $20. The design is similar to the Sangean
DT-200V. Is this a decent AM radio?

For twenty dollars?

If it picks up a radio station on the AM band, it's a wonderful radio.



Okay, does everybody know the Dollar Tree?

We always try to go there before venturing over to the exorbitantly priced
Wal*Mart. About two months ago, they had a FM radio for a dollar (natch - all
their stuff is a dollar).

Two "AAA" batteries.

It works! Three stations and there is only one FM within forty miles.

Came complete with earbuds (two)

My wife asked me what I got it for and when I told her I just wanted to see
if it worked, she took it bwg. Apparently it is still working (or I would
have heard about it).
