I have one mod left to do, the switchable filter option. to switch between a dual LF-D6 wide and the stock narrow filters. the results are quite excellent. I haven't seen anything backing up your claims on the DX-394, this makes the captain think you are a blowhard, blasting hot air out like the massive whales of the sea. Don't let me think you were full of it when you said you knew about the DX-394. Where the captain is from, the show of the sword has to be backed by a duel if the bluff was called. But here's a link to a web site with information about the DX-394. They rate radios for "value" - Their rating system gives radios 1-5 stars. I would consider the ARRL Lab review in QST and the Radio Netherlands review to be more comprehensive and professional.
