How come I have never seen a review or comment on this receiver:

Hi Mike:

- Saw this ad a few years ago; my guess is it's Ex- Grumman
engineers putting this one together...

From the Web site:

"We utilize state of the art technology to provide cost effective solutions to
HF Communications problems"

- Haven't seen any reviews or performance comparisons on it;
Looks like a Very good set!
- Gone missing from all reviews, except some that are in german;
- and one wierd one with strange links..)

( Do a Google Search " Patcomm RX-16000E" )

My guess is that this receiver MIGHT be a .. Well , grumman engineers,
Military..

" YOU KNOW "...
- Like to compare it to an R-75 or some such..

Anyone Know WHY This set's flown under the radar for So Long ??

Check QST Feb 98 and Dec 2000 for the PC-1600 Amateur Transceiver.
FWIW, they reviewed the PC-9000 Amateur Transceiver also.

Never seen just the reciever reviewed anywhere.
