Anything interesting on aircraft bands?

Hello,
I've just discovered utility radio, after long years of SWL to broadcasters
and ham radio only.
Well I am interesting in aircraft bands at most, so I am wondering if there
is any good web site for beginners on aircraft band monitoring or utility
too.
Maybe you can advice any interesting freq. to listen to in north-east part
of Europe?

Thanks in advice,
Edgar

There is a really amazing site out there that I've never seen much publicity
about.
http://www.passur.com/sites.htm

What it does is let you pick an airport from their list, and it will show
you an up-to-the-minute graphical representation of all commercial flights
in up to an 80 mile radius of the airport.

What's more, you can click on the planes (as they move across the map) and
you'll get info such as flight ID, Aircraft Type, Current Altitude, Origin,
and Destination.

Couple that with a good radio, and you're basically looking over the
air-traffic-controller's shoulder. Pretty cool.

I'm in Picayune, MS, and am within the New Orleans airport's coverage area.
Here's the link I use to see New Orleans' flights:

Enjoy!
