Default Liberty Net vs. the BBC

Liberty Net vs. the BBC and some other flaming liberal broadcast
shortwave station.

As much as the Liberty Net angers the liberals out there, and many
misguided conservatives as well, I don't know how it is possible to
listen to the BBC.

I heard much of last night's Liberty Net, and heard the liberal and quasi
liberals that manage to speak but never give their call sign. After all
the law is just something imposed on conservatives, as liberals may
freely violate it, providing they are doing it for a "just" cause.

I agree with much/most of what the Liberty Net discusses.

I don't understand why people that disagree with the Liberty Net listen
to it long enough to get angry. Place the Liberty Net in your figurative
killfile, change the frequency, turn the transceiver off, go watch TV.
Why are people incensed to the point that they freely violate the law?

Listening to the BBC this morning, I applied this principle. The first
story I heard was of several people in a discussion group. The host asked
one of the males in the group if he preferred Russia or the United
States, to which the male replied Russia. When asked why, he said that
Russia embraces its seediness. When asked for more details, the male
replied that Russia brazenly exhibit their prostitutes, while in the
United States we (the U.S.) are still living in the Victorian age,
whereas we have prostitution but do not encourage it, especially openly.

I see, what a national credential, manifest prostitutes! Is this the
usual fare of BBC and liberals? Needless to say, I changed channels. But
lo and behold, I came across another liberal channel. Perhaps Radio
Netherlands, perhaps another BBC frequency? Nevertheless, this show was
discussing the Ultra Right Wing Extremist, John Wayne. The show's host
and guest could scarcely hide their derision for John. Nice objective
stuff there guys. They even projected their scorn onto his screen roles,
mentioning Buffalo that he killed, and his mistreatment of Indians.

How Pathetic, but I applied the same principle, I turned it off, my
nerves returned to normal, and I got on with my life (P.S. I turned on a
Preacher, much better listening).

Why can't you liberals do the same thing (turn the radio off, not like
I'm advocating that you listen to a Preacher)? Why develop neuroses
about shows that displease you? Turn it off!

P.S., how in the hell can you cite BBC as a laudable thing to listen to
on shortwave and criticize the shows that conservatives and Christians
listen to? Do you believe that open prostitution should determine the
character of a nation? Do you believe that John Wayne was an Ultra Right
Wing fanatic?

You can have the BBC, I'll take the Liberty Net any day.

To know and to be, this is not even a question, there is no alternative.
You see it clearly in the loneliest little avenues between particles and
waves, shunned even by the gregarious quark and unknown by the various
strands of time, so big it cannot be seen, yet so little it is immovable,
lies the fabric of the ultimate reality gripped in the tiny fist of the
all or nothing."
