Radio Zambia ?

I don't think I've ever heard this station here before S. Radio
Zambia-ZNBC, Lusaka. The language sounded like french to me, but Passport
lists english. I should have used my earphones. It was a music broadcast. I
didn't listen too long because I needed to print out a new log page on my
computer and I don't get reception when the computer is on s.

4.910 03:07 utc fair signal strength but somewhat indistinct, then again my
hearing is pretty bad.

Radio Zambia is the most likely ID, yes - FWIW. My source lists the
language as "vernacular", which might sound like an African/French mix.

Not sure if they still use it, but you might want to tune in earlier to hear
their 'cry of the fish eagle' interval signal. I haven't heard it myself for a
number of years, but I'll give it a listen in the next few days.

You can give it check he
