Default Walkiing in The Cold

Woke up to 22 degfree weather & clear skies..
Felt I needed to get out & walk around a bit.

- But it's So Cold out, and my Foot hurt, and I was conflicted..
- So I spoke to My Inner Child..

" Don't be Such A Pussy" it said.. " Take a walk"

Braced with this Insight I ventured out , walking for about an hour,
inspecting the rocks and the Ice and the Blue Sky..

Got back in & turned on Radio Canada;

Discussion on Cold weater gear on 9.515..

Waiting for The Snow..

Yap, it's 45.4 and I have to take the dog out. Hope I can get on enough
warm clothes.

Good place for buying warm outdoor clothes...

I think Polartec is the best;

- Not very useful in 110 degree weather, but helps on cool days ;

I dont wear anything heavier than a t shirt and jeans if its above +15
F......Was 23 F for the high yesterday and spent 12 hours working
outside...Was very comfy!

Of course if it gets down to Minus 5 F next monday as the weather is saying
I may have to resort to my hooded sweatshirt.

I could live in California...But where would I be without my 60$ a month
combines electric and heating bills...My 59 cent a loaf bread...and my 1.29
a gallon milk thats the same price as premium gas.

No thanks

I hate anything over 60 degree's

Cold????

Well on behalf of the Canadians who know what cold is I must say 22 is
lovely and warm for January

Monday it was -36C with a wind chill of -45C here. Perfect for shoveling
off the 2 foot snow drift across my driveway.

Now that's cold.

How cold was it???

It was so cold that:

I had to put a heater on the coax feed of my antenna to thaw out the
signals so I could copy Radio Canada!!!

- I Do remember Jack Londons storey " To Start A Fire"
in which it was so cold

that when the protagonist spit .
It Froze before it reached the ground
leaving a " CLUNK" as it hit...

Stay Warm !!!

this place.

As I'm writing this it's -3/F and it will probably drop to -10/F before
sunrise. The really cold stuff is coming this weekend. Probably -20/F in
my area and -30/F in the mountains of far upstate NY.
