"Hitchhikers Guide to DXing"
 
GREAT news from Radio Netherlands: they are in the process of digitizing the
complete series they did in the early 1980s called "The Hitchhikers Guide to
DXing". This was a spoof on the Douglas Adams sci-fi thing that was very big
back then, and was absolutely hilarious. It will apparently be available
on-demand.

This was the small blurb I found buried in the "Media Network" weekly
e-mail:

"due to public demand we'll be making the entire Hitchhikers Guide to DXing
series available for the first time in more than 20 years."


They are also working on putting all of Jonathan Marks' old "Media Network"
shows into the same format for on-demand access as well.

That'll be great! I really enjoyed that series, and it sure will be fun to hear
it again.

Radio Netherland's Digital Media Network website says they'll also transcribe
all those analog Media Network broadcasts into on-demand digital, no doubt in
Windows Media, RealAudio, and MP3 playback modes! WA6020SWL
