OK, who recommended the jWIN JX-M14?

You were right--an excellent radio for a dirt cheap price. Lots of fun.

Fer the price, you really can't go wrong..!
Digital readout / analogue tuning,
FM , AM, SW
Shiny Little lights
& BIG sound
( When pumped through computer speakers)
Not too much electronic, so Battery life's pretty good..

Of Course, it ain't no 606A or 505A or 909A, or 7600G...
or KA105..

But it only costs 15 dollars !!

Just for fun, I put the jWIN next to my YB-400PE. The jWIN couldn't match
the Grundig in most respects, but it turned in a more than decent
performance when you consider its price. And it actually beat the Grundig
in one respect: the jWIN handled a fluctuating signal very well, giving a
very stable sound, while the Grundig faded and blasted. The jWIN is
actually more pleasant to listen to on SW than the Grundig, provided the
signal isn't too weak.

I was one of the first, paying US$19.99 plus S&H.

I was so impressed, I bought one each for my local teenage grandson and the
teenage girl next door. Of course, I gave them much SW info so they would know
what to do and what to look for.
