Marine Bands

About 15 years ago I used to listen to ships at sea making position

reports
on hf and phone calls via ship to shore operator. Do they still use hf for
this? I can't seem to hear much marine traffic anymore.

Thank

Pierre

Try 8.294 mhz or 12.356 mhz instead! Those frequencies carry marine traffic
along the Pacific rim.
