McKay-Dymek receivers

I've got an extremely rare Mckay-Dymek DR101 receiver.
Any other owners/users of McKay-Dymek receivers out there?
I've seen several DR33's, DR44's, etc but never any other DR101's.

Extremely rare? Hardly. Scarce yes, but not extremely rare. They come up
on eBay from time to time.

Well, I think the DR101 model is extremely rare and that's the one I
was talking about I suppose we can argue about the definition of
"extremely rare". The one I have was purchased on ebay and it was the
only one I've seen for at least 4 years. It's also listed as extremely
rare in Osterman's book.

The DR101 has the variable scan tuning instead of rotary knob or lever
switches. The DR101 uses a similar scheme as the Cubic Astro-150
series transceivers.

If you know of another DR101, please let me know. I'll contact the
owner and try to get a copy of the manual.

I had to repair mine and spent quite a few hours struggling with it
without a manual. I finally did get a manual for the DR22 and the
DR33. Their I.F. strips are similar and that's where my problem lay.
Fortunately, I've not had to dig into the scan tuning circuitry since
I've never found a schematic.
