Would there be a market...
If I were to order a few dozen more of the Sat 700 memory chips to offer for
the same $5/set of three that I have been offering them at? I can buy these cheap enough in lots that I can sell them for that and still cover my postage both ways, whereas the average Sat 700 user would only want to buy three of them, and would either have to end up with a ton of extras or pay somebody on ebay $20... -- Illigitimus non tatum carborundum *Don't let the *******s wear you down* |
Not a big seller for me, sadly.
Now....if you could find fine tuning kits for the FRG-7...*that* would be a quick seller! 73, Steve Lawrence Burnsville, Minnesota (Brrrrrrnsville, Minne-so-cold) "Brenda Ann" wrote in message ... | If I were to order a few dozen more of the Sat 700 memory chips to offer for | the same $5/set of three that I have been offering them at? Steve,
I assume you've tried Yaesu and they're out of them? I picked one up from them only a couple of years ago when I called them for a replacement power switch knob. I asked if they had any other FRG-7 stuff lying around and it turned up on the computer. I haven't had the heart to use it yet. I have no pressing need for the fine tuning and I hate to take a drill to the faceplate. The kit is pretty trivial, a 4pf air variable (two rotor plates and one stator) and a 33pf ceramic. I guess the hard part would be getting a good match for the knob. Oz On Fri, 30 Jan 2004 01:20:07 +0000, Stephen M.H. Lawrence wrote: Not a big seller for me, sadly. Hey, Oz, yes, they're fresh out. I've got the parts, but have
to motivate myself to do the dental work (drill and fill) on the old rig. 73, Steve Lawrence Burnsville, Minnesota "Larry Ozarow" wrote in message ... | Steve, | | I assume you've tried Yaesu and they're out of them? | I picked one up from them only a couple of years ago when I called | them for a replacement power switch knob. Steve,
Lemme know if you'd like a scan of the instruction sheet. On Sat, 31 Jan 2004 01:45:56 +0000, Stephen M.H. Lawrence wrote: Hey, Oz, yes, they're fresh out. I'd love one, Larry!

Steve, if the address in your header is correct the scans
are on their way. Larry |
Apparently not. Just came back. Send a good e-mail address to
lhozarow at yahoo dot com and I'll try again. On Sat, 31 Jan 2004 23:48:38 +0000, Larry Ozarow wrote: Steve, if the address in your header is correct the scans are on their way. Larry |
