SSB on KAITO 1102 or DEGEN 1102

Has anyone evaluated SSB on either of these radios?

Not very good. I am disappointed by this radio. It didn't meet my
expectations of what I read in the reviews. The "kaito" radios made
by tecsun seem to be better.
