You can try monitoring some of the ham nets on the air. A list can be found at

in the Northeast there are lots of hams on AM, check them out evenings from
3870 khz to 3890 khz.

For the best enterainment, listen to the frequencies around 3950 USB or LSB.
It's kinda like listening to a bunch of old WWII veterans sitting around the
