![]() Hi All, Please be aware this procedures is quite involved ,it's easy to break a component or contact. I tried performing a mod to make better room/passage for the old type cable , but decided against after finding the quarters too cramped. Was lucky to successfully put the set back together again, especially the power switch on the left side was hard to get back in place. Beware , and if you have a working old cable version - live with it and try not folding/closing the set at all times. Keep it mostly opened and store in a cupboard/drawer/box ,whatever... Maybye that should help ? http://www.dai.ed.ac.uk/homes/cam/gadgets/SW100.html http://www.tesp.com/SW100FAQ.htm Note that there was a revision of the SW100 in 1997 involving some improved circuitry, a new screen cable, and a new faceplate to accomodate the cable. Some of the details are mentioned in the above. The distinguishing feature is the hinge slot in the later model. The first URL above has photographs of the two models. -- Chris Malcolm +44 (0)131 651 3445 DoD #205 IPAB, Informatics, JCMB, King's Buildings, Edinburgh, EH9 3JZ, UK [http://www.dai.ed.ac.uk/homes/cam/] |
