CHU 6075

Picking up CHU here on 6075 at 1410. Hearing it on 3 receivers. Perhaps
a transmitter problem?

Most likely a problem here. I have a local on 1260, and I'm also hearing
CHU on 8595. Along with a lot of other crap when using the 200' wire.

Probably a problem here with the snow and ice amongst other things.

Oh well!

?!?!?!?!? I'm getting CFRB, Toronto (normally 1010 AM) quite
clearly on that frequency! No sign of CHU. 1500 hours.

If you're getting CFRB on 6075 you'd better check that receiver! ;-)

I think I've figured out my problem here.

No, it's not the receiver - it actually is coming in listenably from
6055 to 6080. I checked a variety of other frequencies, MW, SW, etc,
and everything is where it belongs. 6060 would be exactly six times
1010 - some kind of multiple?
I have been listening long enough to know that you've never quite heard
it all, though.

CFRB (CFRX) is on 6070. The problem that I was describing was on 6075.

And... if CFRB is coming in listenably all the way down to 6055 and up to 6080 that's
some pretty broad selectivity.

What kind of filters do you have in that radio?

They're probably better than the "retard filters" you claim to have in your
"new" computer.

Who's lying this morning?

Quite obviously you fat boy, did you have to ask? Not exactly a 'new' computer,
but a backup I've pressed into service since the HD crapped out in my other
one.

Now where was I?... Oh yeah, gotta put the 'retard' filter into the newsgroup
reader.

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
