SONY ICF-SW100/ Help with repair
Hi,
my sw100 is malfunctioning. It powers up ( standby mode ) allows Time setting, Sleep and Timer functions, but when pushing ON/OFF button it goes straight to "LW" in display and does not respond to any inputs. Switches back to standby mode after a few seconds. Anybody out there willing and able to repair? Will pay, of course, or trade for radio (s). Have schematic. Thanks, Pete |

Switches back to standby mode after a few seconds. FYI, these are the symptoms of the common ribbon cable fault on this model. Should occur particularly on pre-1997 models.
