Kaito KA105 & overload ; how bad
All:
In the radiointel review of this receiver http://www.radiointel.com/review-kaitoka105.htm is this passage: "Using the plug in antenna wire did help the reception some. With a full size outside wire antenna, overloading and images were present….that is too much antenna for the 105." - Question is: How Much overload is present in just regular " Walking Around" use with the Kaito KA105 . My current " Walking Around " SWR is a Jwin JX - M14.. Overloads like crazy Any comments out there on the Kaito KA105 & overload?? Thanks Dan |

Thanks In strong signal areas it is probably intended that it be used with only the telescopic whip. Under those conditions I see no evidence of overloading on SW bands in the RF-congested northeast US. |
