Happy birthday to me. :)

Happy Birthday woman, you going to stop counting now?

I'm 62, getting married and starting over again, less the kid part (I hope)

??????? Not me, born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota. Anxiously awaiting
retirement to go back and leave this moldy area behind!

Is this posted with the hope that someone will send you an R-390 as
a belated birthday present?

I can picture someone being generous, but the shipping is likely to
be over their limit.

Nah... I've pretty much given up on an R-390.. but if someone's got an old
trapped dipole lying around... mine bit the dust during our last typhoon...

Hmm, I've never trapped dipoles before - what do you use for bait?

Stupid attempt at humor aside, Happy Birthday - give yourself a nice
birthday gift; take the day off from work & play with your radios then
treat yourself to a nice dinner.

My fateful day is coming up soon.....I can see over that hill, and let
me tell ya, it's NOT pretty!! There's a lot of people with saggy parts
on the other side.....What was it the sign said in the "Wizard of Oz"??
I'd turn back if I was you -- or some such. Sounds like extremely good
advice to me. Anyways, I quit counting @ 39, just like Jack Benny (and
my mom; who taught me that long ago, and we've been the same age for
years now). Hope it was a memorable day kid!!

Many, many happy returns, B.A. 49, you say? If I'm alive next year, I'll send
you an application to KARP.

Getting old isn't for cowards. But the alternative ain't so hot, either.
