DRm & Non-Converted RXs

Hi all

Have grabbed the DREAM DRM software, theres an article at

http://www.fineware-swl.com/drm.html

that suggests that you can get DRM working - in most cases with a non-
converted RX, by careful twiddling of the modes, and other controls

The article lists all the SWL Favourite RX's, as well as some of the
newer models...

Has anyone had any success using the Icom R-75 ??? - Using my stock
model, I managed to get someway towards decodeable signal, but to some
degree never near enough to get audio

I don't know about the R-75 but you will need the bandwidth to be pretty
flat over the entire bandwidth of the DRM signal (typically 10kHz I
think) plus you will need to have the SSB BFO (or CIO) well outside the
band occupied by the signal.

The IC-R75 is the wrong radio to try this with.
