IBOC is the US digital broadcast standard. AM IBOC uses digital sidebands
spaced away from a standard AM channel. It takes up a very wide channel,
over 30 khz. I'm not aware of any plans to put AM IBOC on SW, and let's
hope that bandwidth hog never shows up there.

I doubt the FCC cares if the US SW broadcasters use DRM modulation. The FCC
hardly seems to know SW radio exists.
