Is the battery life on the Grundig/Tecsun as good as the SR3? My GE is
still running on the same set of batteries I put in before the Y2K scare,
and I use it on an almost daily basis as a "getting ready for work" radio in
the mornings.

GE Superadio III is the Grundig S350 "Super Radio" Tecsun BCL-2000.
