Building a Faraday Cage
After alot of research on the subject of RFI/EMI Interference.
I recently constructed a Faraday Cage around my laptop. Alot of people recommend nickel/zinc material. Others have tried alumunium based. Well. I took a different approach. By using a copper mesh screening material used for sculpturing. The material can usually be found at craft stores. After lining my shelving area where I have my laptop almost all of the interference on the radios is gone. Check into the copper research on the web and you will find what I am talking about. BW |
