Looking for Shortwave
 

I am looking for a portable shortwave with SSB and Aircraft. Can't
seem to locate one with all three features. Anyone know of a
reasonably priced radio with all ? Sangean, Sony etc ?

I believe the discontinued Sony-2010 has aircraft. The radio is occasionally
available used on this newsgroup and used equipment web pages at Universal
Radio and Grove Enterprises.

The Drake SW8 had all that and more but wasn't cheap. The "Grundig" Sat800
is a low cost clone of the SW8 and you might find a used one for less than
$300 on Ebay.

I recently saw the Sat800 at $350 but can't recall where. Can't say
how "portable" it is unless you have a dump truck. ;-)
