How Do You Connect an External FM Antenna to a CCRadio?
I have an original CCRadio (not a "Plus"). How can you connect an
external FM antenna to it? It only has AM connectors on the back - is there a way? What about the CCRadio Plus? Does it have and FM antenna connector? Thanks, Dan |

I'm using the little ten dollar Terq from an OfficeMax and am using the 75-75 "converter" which terminates in spades and I just have soldered a few inches of bell wire onto them and have them wrapped around the whip. I am in a /very/ poor reception area (only a window facing south) and my NPR station is due east. The Terq took the reception on it from 90% to 100%. And, of course and as always, YMMV (your mileage may vary). What about the CCRadio Plus? Does it have and FM antenna connector? No. And it should have. Gotta see about a mod.
