The RS reel antenna really works.
I strung it to a tree about 12 feet off the ground and was surprised at the SW improvement. Hi,
I have both the DX-398 and the Grundig 400PE. I see more improvement with the reel antenna on the 398 than I do on the 400PE and I live in a high rise. I always felt the 400PE was more sensitive off the whip than the DX-398. I also have a Sat-800 which I use more than either of these other 2 receivers. Hope this helps -- Take Care Abb N VE3003SWL Windsor, Ontario, Canada "Bass Ackwards" wrote in message ... I'm using a DX-398 off the whip and it does a fine job there. One on the side fence and the other on the backfence each with ICE 180A beverage matching units. My DX398 shines with reception. I can get alot of tropical band stations with ease with this antenna setup. BW |
