Default Sanyo RP 8700 question

I picked up one at a garage sale and the only thing I can find on Google is a
reference someone made that he bought one in 1977.

It works extremely well. Analog with AM, FM, SW, and CB (can't seem to get any
CB traffic on it though).

There's a small hole in the back that accesses an adjustment screw. Anyone ever
had one? Dare I turn the screw without knowing what it does?
