![]() "Michael Bryant" wrote in message ... From: "Brian Hill" You would all be surprised at what your grandfathers and dads did to prisoners in past wars. Its called revenge for the death of your friends and comrades. Get a grip and kick CNN the **** out! -- There's always been torture, so we should accept torture now. " You're right--there always has been torture. But unfortunately a lot of people who are now oh so worked up about these incidents (British and American) seemed perfectly content "accepting" far, far more widespread incidents of torture under Saddam's regime. Why do you suppose that's so? I'd suggest as we see the moral indignation piled high to the sky on this we ask those wielding the shovels: where were you when Saddam was driving nails into people's heads? |
