It's equally wierd to be out on a Beach at night, looking up at the star filled
sky
- and see distant lightning flashes reflected off the thin clouds way up in the
sky...

Thunder does travel Miles & Miles..
When your in the woods on a Hot Summers day & it gets cloudy
& very still
Then you hear the Thunder & wonder
If it's gonna come your way ..

A cheap SWR will almost help figgure out what direction it's coming from;
- But by then it's 5 miles away & you better get your rain gear out..

- I do love summer

Dan

It's really kind of interesting living here about two miles from Lake
Michigan.

Some days, like this evening, I can go outside and hear the thunder from
storms that are at least 35-40 miles away out on the lake, at least as
indicated by the radar.

Sure can hear the crashes on the radio too.

Oh yeah, steve's high on life....
