Australia or is it relayed ???

Figured as much.... From what I remember reading, Radio Australia doesn't
use any sw relays. Correct ??? I'm surprised though, by the strength of
the signal. Must be very good conditions for it currently.

Figured as much.... From what I remember reading, Radio Australia doesn't
use any sw relays. Correct ???


They don't use any actual relays as far as I know, but off the top of my head
there may be a station or two in the Pacific which picks up and relays some R.
Australia programs.

Coming in very well here.


I listen to 21740 during the afternoon here most days. This frequency is
almost always really strong. Never had any interference on this one
unlike the jam packed 31 meter band.

direct from Australia.


Booming in here daily on this frequency is normal and it is direct from
Shepparton according to Passport. S9 right now. This broadcast starts
at 2:00 PM (UT 21:00) instead of 1:00 PM my time, which I think throws
some people off. They are off either 2 hrs or currently 1 hr on the
schedule depending on the season.
