I agree that it is probably an auto tone devise gone spastic. Though... I remember an episode of the 1970's science fiction TV series Battlestar Galactica. Thye episode was called "War Of The Gods". A race of angelic beings zipped around space in balls of light that sounded very much like what I'm hearing now... LOL. -- Respectfully, Michael Location: Northern NJ Primary Radio: R-75 with full Kiwa mods. I'm getting it on the R8 now, I just needed to do more digging! CW mode, 2.3 filter sounds the best. The sideband sync on the 800 really helps with this. I just went out on the back porch and heard it on the Degen 1102 and the YB400. Neither showed any signal on their respective "meters", but the sound easily heard. Although, if I hadn't known it was there I never would have found it on either one. Also, I managed to record a few minutes of it for posterity!
