between channels
Last night, 17 May '04 from about 0145z to QRT at 0155z, heard R.
Exterior de Espana playing classical music on 11683.0 thru QRM on both sides. With USB sync detector on Sat800 they were Q5, S8 in upstate New York. Question is...why is a big gun like R. Ext. de Espana in between the normal 5khz spacing rather than insisting on a normal frequency ? |

(1) image from another freq (2) dirty transmitter that is spilling signal. (1) is more likely unless they are supposed to be on a nearby freq. -- -UA |
