Connection for MFJ-1020
 

I just ordered an MFJ-1020c for use with my 7600GR. Does anyone know
what cables, if any, come packaged with the antenna? MFJ has one of
the most useless websites I have found. If none do, what do you
recommend I use to build one?

Build your own Patch Cord with a PL-259 Plug on one end and a
1/8" Mono-Phone-Plug on the other end.

* Screw-Type Solderless PL-259
RadioShack Catalog # 278-193

* 6' Shielded Cable
RadioShack Catalog # 42-2434
- 1/8" Mono-Phone Plug
- Other end is Stripped end
- Shielding preserves signal strength
and guards against interference, or "hum"
- Length 6 feet

Is that the 'Indoor Active Antenna'? I'm looking at the Pop Comm and it says
MFJ-1020B----it has a 'B' though, is this it?

Almost like computer geeks but sorta in reverese maybe.

I'll be happy to let you know how it performs. I selected the 1020c
after reading the review in Passport. I intend to use it both with
the supplied antenna, and connected to a 50' random.

BTW, thanks to RHF for the RadioShack parts list. Cable's ready and
sitting beside a pile of 9v batteries. Now if the darn thing would
hurry up and get here!
