You can also try 6020 from about 1000-1300 UTC. I wake up it daily, using
the same radio as you (R-75) w/ 200 m wire circling the house. Some
chinese thing or other messes it up at 1230 UTC here @ 52N 102W.

According to this web page:

http://www.abc.net.au/ra/hear/america.htm

They are changing frequency assignments and they want your input for the
changing schedule for either the America's or Europe on this page:

http://www.abc.net.au/ra/feedback/report.htm

*****************
They just came on a few minutes ago 22:00 UTC or 3:00 PM my time on
21740 with the usual very strong signal clearly heard here on a Sony
SW7600G on its whip on batteries.

A Catholic Church station in the Phillipines. (Radio Veritas?)
The christmas carols in Chinese in December are kind of a giveaway.

9590 and 9580 are also coming in good at that time of day.

Vatican Radio uses 6020 in Mandarin starting at 1230 via the Philippines
directed to the Far East.
