El Cheapo Portable
 

Picked up an interesting little portable today at the thrift store for
$1.

It's an Arvin 15 transistor 4 band radio (Model #87R79 Black). It covers
AM, FM, Marine band from 1.7-4.7 MHz and Shortwave from 5.0-12.0 MHz.

It has a leather case and a wood/metal carring handle.

Sprayed out the bandswitch and other controls with De-Oxit and it works
OK.

It came with a 6 volt wall-wart too!
