Default GE P780 question

It seems that these are supposed to have screw terminals for an external
longwire & ground. But mine doesn't, the back of the radio has no signs that
they've ever been there either. What's up with that? Should I look inside my
radio for those things? Or is it possible that mine is an early production
radio without the terninals or something like that?

Thanks for your insights.
