I pretty surprised that you would be a fan of the NBA's only dominant
superpower considering how they use money and influence to push around
the lesser nations, er.. .teams.

If you believe that there is an analogy between rooting for professional sports
teams and one's position on foreign policy issues then you need professional
help.

My allegiance is to Karl Malone who is practically volunteering his services by
playing for the league minimum.

The Lakers didn't beat the real T-Wolves.

Actually, given the amount of foul trouble both teams were having by the

second
half, I'd say neither team was exactly 'the real' team. Both teams had to

go
to their not-terribly-deep benches to keep things alive, avoid fouling out
their big players, and depended on lesser guys to close up shop. Kareem

Rush
happened to be 'on' last night, so the fates smiled more on his team than

the
T-wolves. But it was a close series all the way through. If both teams

were
perfectly healthy and ready-to-go, I don't see any good reason to think

the
result would have been any different.

Sam Cassell!

More importantly, I wonder what kind of radio Wally Szcerbiak uses, or how

much
DXing time Kobe manages to squeeze into his hectic schedule. :-)

Haha, well, I can appreciate the enthusiasm, but I stand by my previous belief.
The T-wolves won games against the Lakers and the Kings both with Cassell and
without, and I don't see how the stats support the idea that they would
*necessarily* have done better with him completely well AND the rest of these
teams' players just as healthy.
Now where's my NBA official shortwave antenna and basketball shaped
receiver...?
