School Radio Station

Hello All,

I work at the Brit School in Croydon (in Surrey England for the international
readers), and from the 15th to 27th of July the
students at the school will be running a radio sration called BritFM.
This is the fourth year of running the station and this year in
addition to the normal (low power) local broadcast on 101.5FM it is
also being relayed on the web. The web site is www.britfm.org.uk and
it would be great if some of you listened in and sent a mail to the
school with words of encouragment. The mail address is
. It is not possible to accept requests and
dedications but every evening (between 19:00 and 21:00 GMT) there will
be an international spot where you can get a name check.

I know this may be slightly of topic for this news group, but it will
give the students involved with BritFM, who range from 11 to 18, a
real "boost" if they know they are reaching far and wide.

Thanks for your interest.

And I can confirm that your test transmissions are promulgating to the
distant islands of Aotearoa.
Good Luck to all involved.!
