Cellphone outages coming in FL?

“The system floods an opposing bandwidth with more frequency than those operating systems release,” said Cmdr. Jim Winship, VX-9 branch head. “This causes users to temporarily lose service. Everything from telephones to sophisticated electronic equipment goes static, because the jammer can overwhelm the frequencies they use.” ..... For more news from around the fleet, visit the Navy NewsStand at www.news.navy.mil. Really? Jam this: http://www.morsecode.freeserve.co.uk/lamps.htm I hadn't known what these things were called, but Google suggests that the name, at least in the British fleet for lanterns used to send Morse between ships, is "Aldis lamp." I was hoping to find a picture of the big ones with the shutters typical of WWII U.S. ships. Think: "Victory at Sea." Please, someone, find me that image. KI4-mumble-mumble-mumble.
