What a choice!
Hi
I currently have an old Frog, but it was accidentally dropped the other day ( thanks grandson). and is beyond repair. I have the opportunity to buying either Kenwood R-2000 Sony ICF 2001D Frg7000. I know it is a bit personal choice but has anyone any experience of these and which one should I buy. They are all about the same price. Thanks Chris |
The Sony is OK is you want to go portable, but overloads with a "real"
aerail. The FRG 700 is probably your best bet, but also see the on-line reviews at e-ham Rgds Richard "andre259" wrote in message ... I have a FRG-7000, along with a FRG-8800 and R-75. The 7000 is a fine
machine despite the fact that it's so old. "andre259" wrote in message ... Hi I currently have an old Frog, but it was accidentally dropped the other day ( thanks grandson). and is beyond repair. The link you provided:
http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/1808 Is not for the FRG-7000. It is for the 7700 And: http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/979 is for the FRG-7 |
Hands - down, the R - 2000, unless portability is very important.
