Is there a tiny stereo audio amp sold that can just drop into the audio
chain? battery powered, or even wall-wart powered as second choice.

I just need to raise the level a little after an AGC that picks too low
a level for the next stage to handle; no large power requirement.
It will only drive another amplifier.
