Say Cuzz,

If you would talk to Mikey about a little loan, he takes care of "small"
things like that for me.

From: http://www.hwn.org/

The Hurricane Watch Net will be activating at 2:00 p.m. EDT for
Tropical Cyclone Charley. Present forecast calls for it to be a
Category 1 Hurricane.

That will be on 14325 USB

Here is a page with a bunch of other freq's. on it that may or may not
be of interest:

Good luck to those in the affected area.

Thursday morning, after reading your post, I tuned in my Rx-320 to 14325 and
left it on. After returning from breakfast, I heard a short message at
08:50 EDT followed by another a few minutes later.

It caught me by surprise; didn't have enough time to fine tune the radio. A
lot of background noise -- S2 - S3 with little change during the message.

Arnie Coro CO2KK (Radio Habana Cuba) has been offering up reports to the
Hurricane Watch Net around 1500 on 14325 USB.

It looks as though the northern part of Hurricane Charley is just hitting
the southern shore of Cuba according to the Key West radar picture.

It might be interesting to see if Radio Havana Cuba stays on the air
overnight and into tomorrow.

Heck, they have a hard enough time putting out a decent signal without
a hurricane!

I don't see a date on the sked, but here it is:

Otherwise check:

Charley just might provide the reason for rebuilding all their transmission
gear.
