Any Ten-Tec rx-320 users out there?

Hi all,

I am a new subscriber to this newsgroup and am interested in discussing the
rx-320 with other users.

I use an alpha-delta DX-SWL sloper antenna and an MFJ-959c antenna tuner.
Control software is dxtra Worldstation v. 2.0.

Has anyone used the rx-320 for digital shortwave?

Regards,

tyer

Tyler,

It sounds like you have made some very wise choices in equipment. I'm
sure someone here can probably help you, but you may also want to check
in the Ten-Tec mail list. They specialize in all things Ten-Tec.

I haven't tried digital shortwave yet. However, that's another reason
for some to hang on to their 7600's. I understand there is a pretty
simple mod for receiving digital sw with it as well as the Ten-Tec
RX-320 - newer model at least.

I have an RX-320 but have not tried digital with it. I *think* it will
take a modification for mine to do so. It's an earlier model. Antenna
is a great choice. Not familiar with your control program. Haven't
even used the 320 in a while. :-( Not dissatisfied with it by any
means. Just have other units plugged up and ready.

I think mail sent to this address will
automatically go to EVERYONE on the list. That is, unless you have to
be approved first to post to the list. Might want to check out the
listinfo link first to find out what you can and cannot do.

Regards,

Al

This may be worth looking into:

For those needing viagra in their URL lines:

and

among many others.

The 320 is the best performing radio compared to anything even remotely
close in price. Being made on Dolly Parton Way is just a bonus and may
explain the good front end design.

Very popular receiver.

Be sure & join the Yahoo group for the RX320.

Can't comment on using the D model features.

Al,

Thank you. I subscribe to the yahoo rx-320 site. Many of the posts concern
sstv and digital. What they do not discuss much is just what it is they are
hearing in digital.

Perhaps I'll learn more at the ten-tec site.

I use my 320 for digital. Try RXPlus. It's an amazing digital suite for
the 320 and is still developing.

Ask him grin.

And eighty bucks wouldn't seem to be too
much for software with those features.

Gray:
Look at the RX-320 newsgroup for more info on this developing program. I
have been very impressed so far.
