I just made a call to my local Democratic Campaign Headquarters and
asked them if they'd seen or heard any further information about the
Drudge Report story about the Kerry Campaign saying that it was possible
that Kerry's first Purple Heart was awarded for an unintentional
self-inflicted wound...

The fellow on the line actually asked me why Kerry being awarded a
Purple Heart for an unintentionally self-inflicted wound would make me
not want to vote for him...

I couldn't believe it... I dropped the phone I was laughing so hard...

I finally picked it up, thanked the fellow for his fine question and
hung up.

Absolutely boggling.

These are the folks who want the power of the Presidency.
