I was personally hoping that WYFR would stay off. I can remember sitting at many a
DXpedition in the past, plotting with others ways in which we might go to Florida
and take them off the air.

All we had to do was wait for a hurricane or two.

Another way to check to see if the tip was valid would be to actually turn your
radio on and check it out.
