Writing R-5000 Computer Control Software Need Your Help

Hi Guys

My buddy is writing software for the Kenwood r-5000. But, he can't find any
main "soft commands" like for S-Meter strength, CMD, a Filter change CMD. He
can't even find any AGC commands to change that via the computer.

Only station change, mode change, etc.

Do any of you guys know of any software for the r-5000? Fineware seems to be
out of business. We're really looking for a list of the R-5000's soft
commands. They seem very limited.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Lucky

Try www.dogparksoftware.com . They have a product, MacLoggerDX, whic
runs on the macintosh and can control the R-5000.

Perhaps they can help you out with that information.

Thanks. I have found some soft commands thru searches and links. We tested
the software he wrote for the Ten Tec 320 and it's been adapted already for
the 5000. I tested a beta today and it's great. I'll let you guys when it's
ready. So far so good. We're working fast.

They are somewhat limited but I can send you the IC-10 commands by e-mail if
you want.
