SWR-(Germany) will cancel 6030 khz( SWR3) and 7265khz(Cont.Ra) Oct. 19.

But no real loss to us in Europe:- where reception of SWR programming via
the Astra satellites continues easily achievable.

Audio quality of broadcasts via the 'narrow band' shortwave channels is poor
by comparison with the microwave alternative.
